Car Insurance Disputes and Mediations
As seen in an article released February 15 th, 2012 by Stanley Pasternak a director at the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association – “For the second time in less than a week, the provincial auto insurance regulator (the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, or FSCO), has been emphatically told by the Ontario court that disputes in the auto insurance sector must be processed and mediated within 60 days.”
“As long as injured people are being denied the opportunity to have their disputes resolved quickly, they may be denied access to the prompt care and treatment they need to recover. As the saying goes: justice delayed is justice denied. Both of these rulings clearly spell out how auto accident victims have had their rights denied because of unconscionable delays in the government’s dispute resolution system.”
